In 1988, Dave Lister, the last surviving human emerged from 3 million years in stasis aboard the mining ship Red Dwarf. With no planet to return to, the Red Dwarf travels through space with its crew of Dave Lister, the hologram of Arnold J Rimmer, a species evolved from Lister’s pet cat and a mechanoid called Kryten. Together they form an anarchic, argumentative and disorganised group whose battles with aliens and with themselves proved to be absolutely hilarious.
